We opened our computer about a week ago and boy were we surprised!!!
We tried for several days to try and get rid of the virus on our own and things just kept getting worse or staying the same (staying the same was not good!!!). We finally had to bite the bullet and get some professional help to clean up our system and return things to normal. It really burns me up that there are people out there somewhere who have the knowledge, the skill, nothing but selfish concern for themselves, and way too much time on their hands. And, just because they can, they pervert a good system and think that causing problems for others is fun and fulfilling! I have plenty of unkind, unholy, and vengeful feelings for people like that for creating costly and stressful circumstances for us.
Whew!!
In spite of the recent bad circumstances we have had some fun with other changes in our lives. After the holidays, when all our visitors were gone, we decided it was time to change some things around the house. We removed all the little girl wallpaper border around up near the ceiling, and painted over the bright yellow painted walls in the "girls' bedroom" (our front bedroom). The next time any visitors come to visit we'll have a clean and neat "guest room" for them to stay in. We're slowing trying to work things to clear out the "craft room" too so Zach and Chase can finally get some rest and relief for the many years of each other's company in a shared bedroom. With all the drains on our time that kind of effort is sporatic and slow. We'll keep working at it. Anyway, below you can see the results of our latest handy work. We even painted the inside of the closet, and judging from some of the things we cleaned up or painted over in there you have to wonder what sort of things went on in that closet. I think somebody must have opened a shaken up can of root beer or something in there. The painting was a little interesting and hard to cover things in some places. We're not quite done with this room yet. We're trying to figure out what we want to put on the shelves and hang on the walls to accentuate and enhance the new atmosphere of the room.
